Dr. Hemita Klose, DMD FAGD
Dr. Hemita Klose graduated top 5 in her class at University of Florida College of Dentistry. As a result, Dr. Klose was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, an invitation-only honor society that recognizes only the highest achievers of graduating dentists nationwide. Dr. Klose is well versed in all aspects of Dentistry including fillings/bondings, crowns, veneers, whitening, gum therapies, extractions, implants, root canal therapy and orthodontics such as Invisalign.
Dr. Klose is an avid believer in continuing education and strives to learn about all of the latest research and technology in Dentistry. Completing one of the most rigorous continuing dental education programs today, Dr. Klose received the FAGD award from the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) in June of 2018. To become a “Fellow” of the AGD is no small feat and to date, less than 7,000 members have been awarded fellowships. Requirements include a minimum of 500 hours of approved continuing education, a comprehensive 4-hour 400-question exam covering all topics within clinical dentistry and an extreme dedication to patient care. Staying ahead of the curve on advanced dentistry and utilizing the most current techniques and technology for treatment, patients can rest assured that with Dr. Klose they are receiving the highest quality of care in general dentistry.
Dr. Klose began practicing Dentistry in Orlando, Florida where she practiced for several years. Dr. Klose and her husband then made the decision to leave Florida and begin their next adventure in the big apple.
Dr. Klose lives in Manhattan with her Husband, their two dogs Bailey and Sonya and welcomed their first child in March of 2017.

Dr. Carolina Escobedo, DMD
Dr. Carolina Escobedo’s (Dr. Carolina) is a board certified pediatric dentist in the West Village. Her philosophy is to practice with "respect, evidence and compassion". Respecting the individual, no matter the age and respecting the environment in which every child is being brought up in. She builds her treatment plans around each family’s lifestyle and needs. She is well versed in working with patients with special needs as well as has a nephew who is on the autism spectrum. This has helped her understand the importance of a special diet, the continuity of care and building a relationship with parents and patients.
Dr. Carolina's training in pediatric dentistry has prepared her to perform in all areas of dentistry for children: preventative and restorative dentistry, growth and development, craniofacial anomalies, trauma management, conscious sedation, behavior management, general anesthesia, as well as interceptive and comprehensive orthodontics.
Since completing her specialty training in pediatric dentistry, Dr. Carolina worked in private practice in Manhattan and Queens in New York. There, she served the diverse communities that reside in the Big Apple.
In 2016 Dr. Carolina after becoming board certified with Board Certified with American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Carolina decided to move abroad and serve the kids of the military families that are stationed in Germany. There she had the time to explore new cultures and travel all over Europe and Africa.
Dr. Carolina was born in Mexico and moved to Florida with her family at the age of 13. She is the third of four siblings and is fluent in both English and Spanish. She attended the University of Central Florida where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Molecular Biology. Dr. Carolina received her Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree from the University of Florida.
Dental school provided Dr. Carolina with an opportunity to complete several mission trips where she provided dental care for adults and children in need. The experience of treating orphans in the Dominican Republic inspired Dr. Carolina to specialize in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Carolina completed a year of advanced education in General Dentistry at Lutheran Medical Center in Manhattan followed by a residency and pediatric dentistry post-doctoral certification in Brooklyn NYU Lutheran Medical Center. During that time she attended mission trips to Guatemala to provide dental services to underserved children.
Dr. Carolina's independent studies include research in the areas of anticipatory guidance and infant oral health care. Her work focused on comparing the knowledge amongst new mothers and experienced mothers, as well as comparing infant oral healthcare knowledge amongst different cultures.
She’s an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and European Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Carolina is back in New York City and looking forward to treating the families in Lower Manhattan. In her free time Dr. Carolina enjoys reading, jogging in Central Park and experiencing all different adventures only New York City can offer. She is getting married in Riviera Maya this November.
