Orthophos 3D X-Ray Imaging (Brand New!)
Our Manhattan dental office uses state-of-the-art dental equipment and technology to ensure your visits are as precise, smooth and gentle as possible. We use the latest Orthophos SL 3D imaging device by Dentsply Sirona. This Cone Beam CT (CBCT) scanner allows our dentists and team to diagnose more efficiently and assess problems that would often go un-diagnosed with standard 2D technology. We've recently brought this into our practice and are excited to provide this upgraded technology for patients!
CEREC One Visit Dentistry (Same Day Crowns)
Dr. Klose uses CEREC technology to create high-quality porcelain dental crowns and restorations during a single visit. CEREC uses CAD/CAM digital technology to design and mill custom crowns for immediate placement.
The process will begin with digital impressions that will be used to make a custom fit and color matched dental crown. These digital impressions allow for a high degree of accuracy and control over the entire process, resulting in a custom restoration that will last for many years with proper dental care.
After the CEREC machine mills your ceramic restoration, our dentist will permanently secure it to the tooth and make any necessary adjustments for a snug and comfortable fit. See our dental crowns page for more information.
Intraoral Scanner - No Mess Impressions
Tired of a goopy mess whenever the dentist says they need to take impressions of your teeth? We were too! We use an intraoral scanner by Dentsply Sirona that allows us to take impressions of your teeth without the mess.
All patients, not just those with a bad gag reflux, have been delighted by this technology. Common services we use the scanner for are Invisalign, veneers, crowns and more. If you have any questions at all
